CRITICAL THINKING AND MEDIA LITERACY 

This is my opinion regarding Critical thinking and media literacy.

The importance of critical thinking and media literacy has great meaning from when we are small until we are older since our beliefs, perspectives, and behaviors have been created from information that draws our interest either because we identify with some things that the media wants us to know and creates a very specific message that may be of great importance for our lives because this is the meaning that these media have, to convince the consumer of information that perhaps can be distorted, but media literacy is essential, since by creating critical thinking it creates more understanding of knowing what the meaning of a news or message is. This makes us more aware and not susceptible to being affected and leads us to act in the wrong way. a desperate way or without any rationing in the face of the information provided by the media. Literacy has a great contribution since, by knowing how to identify, analyze and know how to investigate what we are looking for, being able to analyze the information means that it not only benefits us on one side and not the other, but by having the Critical thinking helps us better understand information and we will always see the positive or good parts of both sides of information and this creates a value judgment.

La importancia que tiene el pensamiento crítico y la alfabetización mediática, tiene un gran sentido desde que somos pequeños hasta que somos personas mayores ya que nuestras creencias, perspectivas, comportamientos se han creado a partir de información que llaman nuestro interés ya sea porque nos identificamos con algunas cosas que el medio de comunicación a querido que conozcamos y hace que se cree un mensaje muy concreto que puede que sea de gran importancia para nuestras vidas porque este es el sentido que tienen estos medios, convencer al consumidor de información que tal vez pueda ser tergiversada, pero es fundamental la alfabetización mediática, ya que al crear un pensamiento crítico hace que haya más comprensión de saber cuál es el sentido de una noticia o mensaje esto hace que seamos más consientes y no seamos susceptibles hacer afectados y nos lleve a actuar de una forma desesperada o sin racionamiento alguno frente a la información brindada por parte de los medios de comunicación. La alfabetización tiene un gran aporte ya que, al saber identificar, analizar y saber investigar de lo que buscamos, al poder analizar la información hace que no solamente nos ponga por parte de beneficio de un lado y no del otro, sino que al tener el pensamiento crítico nos ayuda a comprender mejor la información y siempre veremos las partes positivas o buenas de los dos bandos de una información y esto crea que tengamos un juicio de valor.
